General safety and care guidelines

Review product labels, packaging, and any instructions provided with your order. Product-specific labels and warnings control if they differ from these general guidelines.

Supervision

An adult should inspect the animal, clothing, and accessories before use and supervise use when appropriate. Follow all product-specific age guidance and warnings. Keep removable clothing, accessories, packaging, and loose components away from children who may place them in their mouths.

Inspect regularly

Check regularly for open seams, loose stuffing, detached parts, damaged fasteners, or other wear. Stop using an item if it is damaged or if a component becomes loose.

Cleaning and care

Remove clothing and accessories before cleaning unless the product instructions say otherwise. Surface clean gently with a damp cloth and mild soap, avoid soaking, allow the item to air-dry completely, and keep it away from high heat, open flame, and pets. Follow any product-specific care label where it differs.

Safe use

Do not place stuffed animals or loose accessories in an infant's sleep space. Do not use products in a way that blocks breathing or restricts movement.
